Start your first NeoPress project
Plan the goal and source materials for a project, create the first page draft with the AI agent, and review it before publishing.
What you will do
This guide covers the basic workflow for preparing a NeoPress project, creating the first page draft with the AI agent, and reviewing it before anything goes live.
1. Define the purpose of the project
You do not need a finished specification. It helps, however, to decide who the site is for, what action visitors should take, and which pages matter first.
- Primary audience and problem
- Main call to action
- Initial page list
- Supported languages
- Existing websites, images, and brand references
2. Share an existing website or references
For a redesign, provide the existing URL and explain what should stay, change, or be removed. If another site inspires the direction, share the URL or screenshots and describe the layout or mood you want to carry over rather than requesting an exact copy.
External forms, member features, and server integrations require separate review. Moving page content and migrating an external system are different scopes.
3. Ask the AI agent for a first draft
Include the page goal, audience, main message, CTA, and references in the request. Once the first result appears, refine it section by section instead of repeatedly rebuilding the entire page.
Example: Create a landing page draft for B2B marketing teams to request a product demo. Keep the current brand colors and logo, then place key features, customer stories, and an FAQ below the hero.
4. Review the preview
A draft does not go live automatically. Check desktop and mobile layouts, links, images, and each locale. If the page uses CMS content or a form, confirm that the expected data appears in the right place.
5. Publish only after review
Page and layout changes remain in draft until a site publish runs. CMS entries have a separate entry publish action. Review the pending changes before publishing either surface.
