Check AI usage and buy a refill

Find your remaining AI allowance, understand reset dates, and review 50% or 100% refills before buying.

Read the allowance for the right site

Neopress tracks AI usage for each site. Open the site you are working on before checking the remaining amount. The customer-facing allowance is expressed as a percentage, not a fixed number of messages: different requests can require different amounts of AI work.

Launch includes a monthly allowance, and Growth includes about three times the Launch allowance. The seven-day trial has a smaller, one-time allowance. A trial does not receive the full paid Launch monthly allowance or a monthly reset. AI work is unavailable after a site moves to Archive unless an eligible plan is activated.

Check your balance and reset date

  1. Sign in as the site owner and open the site dashboard.
  2. Choose AI usage in the sidebar's billing area.
  3. Read the remaining percentage and whether the screen describes a billing-period allowance or a trial allowance.
  4. For a paid allowance, check Resets on before planning a large batch of work.
  5. If you need more capacity, select Add more AI usage when that option is available.

A recurring subscription normally resets at the end of its billing period. The date shown for this site is the useful reference; it does not necessarily match the first day of the month. Prepaid Growth also has monthly AI windows during the prepaid term. A reset is an allowance refresh and does not, by itself, mean a prepaid plan renews.

Understand the refill preview

Eligible paid sites can be offered a 50% or 100% refill. The percentage is based on that site's current plan allowance. A refill restores remaining capacity up to a maximum of 100%; it cannot create a balance above that maximum.

  • If 20% remains, a 50% refill previews 70% remaining.
  • If 20% remains, a 100% refill previews 100% remaining; the excess 20% is clipped.
  • If 100% already remains, no refill is needed and checkout is not available for adding more.

Review both the resulting percentage and any clipped amount. The preview reflects current usage. Additional AI work before payment finishes can change the final remaining amount.

Complete the purchase

  1. Select an available refill in the dialog.
  2. Read the reset date and the notice that unused refills do not carry over.
  3. Choose the purchase button and check the price in the payment tab. The refill dialog does not promise a fixed price.
  4. Complete payment and return to Neopress. Wait for payment confirmation, then check the updated allowance.

Refills are one-time purchases for the current allowance period. They do not change the site's plan, add pageviews, or add editor seats. Remaining refill capacity expires with that period rather than carrying over into the next one. Refills, including unused, expired, and clipped amounts, are normally non-refundable; the Refund Policy describes exceptions.

When the option is missing or a request is paused

Only the site owner can purchase a refill. Trial and Archived sites cannot buy these paid-period refills. An option can also be unavailable while the current billing period is not confirmed or a pack is not offered for the site. If payment finished but the allowance has not updated, keep the receipt and contact support before buying again.

If a new AI request is paused because your allowance is exhausted, check the reset date, refill options, or an upgrade to Growth. Work already in progress is not a reliable measure of how much capacity remains for the next request.
