Connect Google Search Console and read search performance

Google Search Console reports how your site performs in Google Search. Connect it to Neopress to review reported keywords and pages alongside your site analytics. The connection is available from Launch and requires a live, published site.

Connect the right Google account

1. Publish the site and check that its public address opens.
2. Open Settings → Search Console.
3. Select Continue with Google. Use the Google account that you or your company want to manage the site. Allow the authorization window and complete Google's permission steps.
4. Return to Neopress and choose how to connect the site. If a matching property already exists, select it and use Use selected property.

Connecting an account and choosing a property are separate steps. If the screen offers Continue setup or Finish setup, complete that flow rather than assuming authorization alone finished the connection.

Choose a new property when needed

• URL-prefix property: the recommended option for most Neopress sites. It covers the chosen URL prefix, and Neopress guides the ownership setup.
• Domain property: covers protocols and subdomains. This option becomes available after you connect and verify a custom domain. Add the shown TXT record at your DNS provider, then select I added the TXT record. Verify now. Keep the record after verification.

Neopress saves completed steps and submits the site's sitemap during setup. Confirm that the property is connected and the sitemap shows Submitted. If a step fails, use Retry this step; there is no need to repeat already completed steps.

Read the search data

Open Insights → Analytics and review Top Keywords and Top Pages. Their detailed tables show search clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and position for the selected period. New connections may need a few days before Google reports useful data.

Clicks and site visits come from different measurement systems. Use trends and relevant page/query combinations rather than expecting every Search Console click to match a visitor row exactly.

Check indexing in Google Search Console

Neopress's Indexing tab shows recorded crawler activity and page edits. It is not Google's definitive index-status report. Use Open Search Console to inspect a specific public URL in Google's URL Inspection tool and, when appropriate, request indexing there. A sitemap submission or indexing request does not guarantee inclusion. See Google's URL Inspection guide.

Restore a connection

If authorization expires, select Reconnect and authorize the account again. If data is missing, check the property, selected period, setup status, and sitemap status. Disconnect removes Neopress's account connection; manage the property itself in Google Search Console.
