Create a form and add it to your website
Build an inquiry or signup form, configure fields and notifications, and test the published result.
A Neopress form lets visitors send information that you can review in Leads. You can create the form separately, reuse it on pages, and edit its fields without rebuilding the page. Form creation and editing are available from Launch.
Choose a starting point
Open Build → Forms and select Create Form. Choose one of three options:
- Use preset: start with Contact form, Lead capture, Event registration, Quote request, or Feedback form.
- Ask AI: describe the purpose, fields, and page where the form belongs. Put request in chat places the request in the chat input; review and send it to continue.
- Blank form: name the form and add the fields you need.
For example: “Create a demo request form with name, work email, company, and an optional message. Add it to the contact page and show a short confirmation after submission.”
Review the fields
The field palette includes short and long text, email, phone, number, date/time, checkbox, consent, dropdown, radio choice, and multiple checkboxes. Set clear labels, useful options, and required fields deliberately. Use a consent field when you need an agreement label and a link to the relevant policy.
Keep the form focused. Only require information you need to respond, and distinguish optional details from essential contact information. A date/time field collects a preference; it does not by itself reserve a calendar slot. An event-registration preset collects details; it does not create a ticket-payment system.
Set the experience after submission
In the form editor, review the Submit button, Thank you message, and Thank you button. Turn on Email notification and add the recipient addresses if your team should receive alerts. Add each address to the recipient list, rather than leaving it in the input.
Some form settings save automatically. Wait for saving to finish and reopen the form to confirm the values. If a save error appears, resolve it before leaving the editor. For multilingual sites, review the form's text in each site language.
Connect, publish, and test
- Ask AI to insert the existing form into the intended page, specifying its name and location. Check Connected pages in the form summary.
- Review the page preview on desktop and mobile, including field order and the submit button.
- Publish the form's field/layout changes and the page changes through the publishing flow. A saved draft form alone is not the public version.
- Open the public page and send one clearly marked test response.
- Confirm the success message, the response in Leads, and the notification email if enabled.
A test submission is a real response, including when sent from a supported preview. Remove test entries afterwards if you do not want them mixed with customer inquiries. Creating a form is complete only when visitors can submit it from the intended public page.
