Manage site settings and branding
Set the site name, favicon, default search information, and shared scripts, and understand when saved settings become public.
Open the right settings
Open your project and choose Settings. The site settings cover General, Language, Domain, Redirects, search settings, team access, AI connections, and billing. Make sure you are in the intended project before changing information shared across the website.
Set the site identity
- Open General and review the site name and description.
- Set your favicon and default social sharing image using an appropriate file or a saved media asset.
- If the site supports multiple languages, select the language you are editing and review localized site metadata.
- Save the section you changed and confirm the saved result.
The site name and default metadata help identify the website where more specific page or content metadata has not been provided. They do not replace the visible logo or page headings. Change visible branding in the page or shared layout as appropriate.
Separate website language from dashboard language
Your dashboard language controls product menus. Your website's language configuration controls public content. The default website language is chosen when the project is created. Use Language to manage additional languages and check the public visibility of each page before publishing translated content.
Use custom code carefully
General settings include custom code positions at the start or end of the page head and body. These can be used for a supported third-party analytics or tracking snippet. Follow that provider's instructions and check the public site after saving. Adding a snippet does not create a custom server, visitor account system, or arbitrary application backend.
Check whether the same script is already present in the shared layout or another setting before adding it, so visits or events are not counted twice. Only add code from a source you trust and configure any visitor consent requirements appropriate to your website.
Know what changes immediately
Saved site metadata and custom scripts are public settings. They are not held until a separate page publish. Page design, shared layout, and their translations follow the draft and publish workflow. Use the relevant save or publish action for the surface you changed, then verify the public URL.
If editing is unavailable
Check your project role and whether the site is archived. A viewer can inspect settings without changing them. Billing and destructive ownership actions have additional permission requirements. Before deleting a site, resolve any active subscription and read the deletion confirmation carefully; deletion is not a way to cancel billing or restore used creation slots.
