Understand prepaid plans and expiration

Check which billing arrangement you have

A prepaid plan provides access for a fixed period paid for in advance. A recurring subscription continues through scheduled renewals until canceled. The plan name alone does not tell you which arrangement applies: check the dates and purchase information for the site you are using.

Availability, price, duration, included features, and usage conditions depend on the terms provided for your prepaid purchase. Read this guide alongside your purchase confirmation and any agreed offer terms. Those documents identify the access you purchased, the site it applies to, and the total paid; keep them available when reviewing your plan status.

Confirm the site and access period

1. Sign in and open the site associated with the purchase.
2. Check the plan status and displayed end date. The site's owner can open Subscription for available billing details.
3. Compare the site name and date with your purchase confirmation.
4. Keep the receipt and any terms provided with the purchase so you can refer to them later.

An expiration date tells you when the purchased access ends. It is different from a next billing date. A non-renewing prepaid term does not automatically create another plan charge at expiration; another purchase requires a separate decision. If you also have a recurring subscription, check that subscription's renewal and cancellation status separately.

Distinguish an allowance reset from expiration

A prepaid plan can include AI allowances that refresh during the access period. Open AI usage and read the displayed reset date for your site. That date describes the allowance period, not an extension of the plan's end date.

If refill purchases are available, review the resulting allowance, reset date, price at checkout, and expiry conditions before paying. A refill does not extend the prepaid term or change the plan. Unused refill capacity does not carry over into another allowance period under the standard refill rules.

Check traffic conditions separately from AI usage. Do not assume that prepaid access means unlimited traffic or that a condition from another offer applies to you. The terms provided with your purchase determine whether ordinary pageview charges or different terms apply. The recurring-subscription estimate may not appear for prepaid access.

Prepare before the plan expires

1. Note the plan's end date, especially if you need to edit or publish around that time.
2. Review the continuation options available for your site and confirm the price and effective date before making another purchase.
3. After any new purchase, confirm the active plan and dates in Neopress.

If prepaid access ends without another active entitlement, Archive restrictions apply. Saved site data is retained, while continued editing and paid features require an active plan. An AI allowance reset or a receipt from an earlier purchase does not establish continued access after the displayed end date.

Check the applicable refund conditions

Prepaid access and recurring subscriptions can have different refund rules. The public Refund Policy excludes the Fixed-Term B2B Prepaid Plans it describes from the standard seven-day initial-subscription refund rule. Voluntary early termination or non-use does not normally make those prepaid payments refundable; applicable-law and Polar exceptions remain subject to the policy.

Read the full Refund Policy together with the terms supplied for your purchase. If the site, dates, or benefits do not match your confirmation, contact support with your account email, site, charge date, and receipt. A refund request is reviewed under the applicable conditions and is not an automatic approval.
