Forms and responses

Review form responses and follow up with leads

Find submissions, read their context, manage email alerts, and handle test or unwanted responses.

Each submitted form response becomes a lead you can review in Neopress. Use the response itself as the record of what the visitor sent, then use available visit information to understand the context. Viewing lead details is available from Launch; full visitor journeys require Growth.

Find the response you need

  1. Open a form to see its recent responses.
  2. Select View all in Leads to open the full lead list for that form, or open Insights → Leads to review submissions across the site.
  3. Use All forms to choose a form and Search leads to search submitted information.
  4. Open a row to read the complete response. Use the page controls to continue through longer lists.

The list shows the lead, contact information when supplied, form, source, and submission time. Opening an unread response marks it as read. You can copy an available contact value to use in your normal follow-up process; reviewing a response does not send a reply to the visitor.

Understand the context

The detail view shows the submitted fields and any available source, device, location, and visit information. A missing name or contact value means the response may not contain that information; do not assume every lead is an identified account.

On Growth, a linked journey can show pages and sessions associated with the visitor and where the submission happened. Linking depends on the available tracking information. Older responses or cookieless visits may have limited or same-day context, and one person's activity across devices is not automatically one complete journey.

If search keywords are shown as estimates, they reflect Search Console data for the page and period. They are not proof of the exact query that an individual lead typed.

Keep notification email reliable

Open the form editor, enable Email notification, and add the intended recipient addresses. If an alert does not arrive, first check whether the response is already in Leads. Then check the saved recipient list, notification switch, and the mailbox's spam folder.

Response storage and notification delivery are separate. A saved response can exist even if an email is delayed or fails, so use the dashboard to confirm receipt.

Handle unwanted responses

If you have permission, open a response, select Delete response, and confirm the deletion. Double-check the contents before removing a customer inquiry. Use the same process to clear deliberate test submissions.

Neopress limits repeated submissions from the same IP to the same form: more than 10 attempts within 60 seconds can be rejected. This reduces bursts; it is not a guarantee that every spam response will be blocked. If a legitimate test hits the limit, wait before trying again.

Use response data elsewhere

The current Leads screen does not provide a direct CSV or Excel download button. Authorized integrations can retrieve form responses through the Neopress API or CLI. Plan that workflow separately when you need a spreadsheet or external system, and verify which forms and records it includes.
